I have long been fascinated by communication, the glue of relationships. I first learned about and worked with Imago Therapy in 1997 at the Pasadena Institute for Relationships. I later trained under Dehneya Pompey of Emphasis on Communication in Pacific Grove. Dehneya taught me about NonViolent Communication and certified me as a Communication Facilitator. After I earned my License as a Therapist, I spent several years training with Imago Faculty Members Dr. Francine Beauvoir and Dr. Bruce Crapuchettes of the Pasadena Institute for Relationships. More recently I trained under Imago Faculty Member Rebecca Sears towards earning Certification as an Advanced Imago Therapist and as an Imago Workshop Presenter. I am also Levels One and Two trained in Internal Family Systems therapy, which I find helpful in assisting members of couples with reactivity.
