10 am Pacific, 11 am Mountain, 12 pm Central, 1 pm Eastern for 3 hours

This three-hour webinar provides a comprehensive understanding of embodied couples practices. Attendees, who are encouraged to bring their partners, will explore the intersection between the mind and body in the context of couples therapy and how embodied practices can be used to help couples deepen their connection and achieve greater levels of intimacy.

We will explore an integrative model of Imago and sex therapy and explain how purposeful pleasure can heal. Participants will learn embodied practices and strategies incorporating the body to facilitate closeness and cooperation. Through a combination of lecture, discussion, and experiential exercises, attendees will learn how to use embodied practices to help couples become more attuned to one another and to access more profound levels of connection.

The webinar presents a variety of clinical interventions, including partner yoga, breathwork, and guided touch meditations. These practices help couples process difficult emotions, to develop greater empathy and compassion for one another, deepen their physical and emotional connection, and heighten their experience of pleasure. No prior yoga or meditation experience necessary. By the end of this three-hour class, participants will have a deeper understanding of embodied practices’ role in couples therapy.
