Registration cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the start of the course (the date of the first live class) will be refunded in full (less transaction fees). Cancellations made between 30 days and 1 week prior to the start of the course will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the course will be refunded minus a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the first live class. An advanced training for Certified Imago Workshop Presenters
In this training we will explore how to present the different theoretical concepts and practice leading the exercises which are unique to the Keeping the Love You Find Workshop. We’ll talk about the differences in leading groups of singles vs couples, as well as the benefits and challenges. Sophie Slade and Carol Kramer are two of the original “Keepers” who helped created and update this transformative workshop material. They will share from their many years of loving and presenting this workshop, both together and separately. Becoming a trained Keeping Presenter will not only give you a valuable new workshop to share with the world but it will also help enrich your work with all your clients.
The Keeping Workshop is an intensive weekend seminar for individuals based on the book and teachings of Dr. Harville Hendrix. It teachs participants how to develop a more conscious relational self, allowing them to become more aware of what they look for in a partner, how they are in relationship, and how to handle conflict in current and future relationships.
The material in the Keeping the Love You Find Workshop is essential to a thorough and complete presentation of Imago theory and practice. It is appropriate for ALL individuals, those who are single, divorced, widowed, and those who are currently in relationship. It can also be a great follow up to the Getting the Love You Want Workshop for people looking to deepen their personal Imago work and also a great way to introduce therapists to the magic of Imago.
In order to participate in this training, participants must:
- be a Certified Imago Workshop Presenter
- have participated in a Keeping the Love You Find Workshop as an attendee.
Sophie Slade, Ph.D., has been deeply involved in the world of Imago since she did her Basic Clinical Training in 1992 with Harville Hendrix. As a workshop presenter since 1996 she has traveled the world giving Imago workshops for couples and singles in English and French. Sophie is a Senior Clinical Instructor on the faculty of the Imago International Training Institute and has been active in creating new courses and re-writing the Imago Clinical Training manual, as well as teaching internationally. In 2008 she received the Helen LaKelly Hunt Award for Community Building and in 2014 the Harville Hendrix Award for Clinical Excellence. People describe Sophie as warm, funny and authentic and say she creates an environment that is safe, respectful and supports personal sharing and learning. Her use of language, metaphor and personal stories brings the concepts to life.
Carol Kramer, LCSW is a sought after, clinical Imago Faculty trainer trained by Imago founder Dr. Harville Hendrix. Carol brings enthusiasm, passion, expertise, warmth and clarity to the process of understanding and learning Imago theory. She is able to break down the skills of how to utilize the theory in practice in a tangible and practical way regardless of learning style. She is a gifted teacher as well as a compassionate, thoughtful and connected healer which makes the process of learning and engaging in the process safe, fun and productive.
