Help Your Clients—and Yourself—Bridge Growing Divides
In today’s climate of heightened division, therapists are continually called to hold space for clients struggling with fear, frustration, and disconnection—while managing their own reactions to a polarized world. This interactive workshop offers practical tools and grounded guidance to help practitioners foster deeper understanding and connection, even across profound differences.
Through a balance of short lectures, breakout sessions, and large-group dialogue, participants will explore how polarization affects their work and personal well-being, develop strategies for reducing reactivity, and practice skills drawn from Imago principles to promote empathy and mutual respect. You’ll leave with renewed hope, a sense of community, and concrete methods to support healing and dialogue in your sessions, your relationships, and beyond.
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand how polarization affects therapists personally and professionally
- Learn strategies to reduce reactivity and foster constructive dialogue
- Build skills to help clients, families, and communities bridge divides
- Connect with peers in a supportive, non-isolating environment
This webinar will be presented online via Zoom and is intended for Imago Professionals of all levels.
