About My Work I have been a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist since 2021, and I teach the Imago Dialogue technique to couples and individuals. This powerful, structured approach transforms conflict into a catalyst for healing, growth, and deeper connection. Through our work together, couples learn to communicate more consciously, increase empathy, and bring heightened awareness to their actions — all while nurturing their relationship. I am passionate about helping people build meaningful, fulfilling relationships — with others and with themselves. Therapy, when grounded in acceptance and attunement, becomes a space for transformation, self-discovery, and lasting change. With  a collective 40 years of experience as a social worker and Psychotherapist , I began my career in South Africa in 1984, later working in the UK, before earning my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2007. I’m committed to staying current with evolving approaches in psychotherapy and continually integrating new knowledge into my practice. Somatic Psychotherapy I am currently a candidate for certification in Bioenergetic Analysis — a form of Somatic Psychotherapy designed to help people process and heal trauma (developmental or situational), reconnect with their authentic self, and reclaim a joyful life. Bioenergetics is based on the principle that the mind and body are deeply interconnected. While rooted in psychoanalytic theory, it also draws on humanistic and relational approaches. This modality uses a combination of bodywork, expressive movement, and emotional processing to reduce defensiveness, increase vitality, and promote alignment between your inner world and outward experience.
