Sylvia Rosenfeld, LCSW

I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University in 1974.
In 1980, I completed a training program with Gertrude and Rubin Blank, noted ego psychologists, at the New York City-based Institute for the Study of Psychotherapy.
In 1990, I completed training in sex therapy with the late Dr. Helen Singer Kaplan at the Human Sexuality Program of New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center,.
In 1993, I became a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, trained by Dr. Harville Hendrix. I’m currently an advanced clinician in that practice, as well as a certified Imago Consultant.
In 1997, I completed training with Dr. Pat Love, the author of the best-selling book Hot Monogamy. I am a level 2 PACT therapist , having trained with Stan Tatkin, and have completed the externship EFT training with Dr. Susan Johnson. I am an AASECT certified sex therapist, and sex therapy supervisor.
In addition to my more than 39 years of practice and experience in working with couples focusing on relationship and sexual issues, I lead workshops and teach therapists and other health and mental health professionals about sex therapy. I also supervises therapists on relationship, sexual, and issues.
I have been married for 35 years.
