Advanced Imago Therapist

Imago Workshop Presenter
Certified Imago Workshop Presenters are advanced clinicians who are trained to lead the “Getting The Love You Want” workshop for couples and, with additional training beyond their presenter certification, may also present the “Keeping The Love You Find” workshop for individuals. This certification emphasizes personal growth and group facilitation techniques, enabling presenters to guide participants through deep relational learning in immersive workshop settings.
Imago Consultant and Supervisor
Imago Consultants are seasoned professionals qualified to supervise and mentor other Imago therapists and clinicians. Their training focuses on consultation and supervision skills, using the Imago relational paradigm to provide guidance, leadership, and feedback to colleagues engaged in clinical and facilitator training.

About Sophie…

I work with couples who are highly motivated to make changes in their relationship. I usually meet with couples once to see if we think we can work well together and to set some goals for the therapy in terms of the relationship they want with each other. If we do decide to work together, I like to schedule 6 further sessions and then evaluate the progress towards those goals. We then decide where to go from there, whether to continue or not and with what focus. I find this time limited, focused approach to be very effective in helping couples make significant changes within a time frame both are willing to commit to. I love the work I get to do with couples and to see the amazing shifts in empathic understanding and connectedness that can happen in a short time.
