I am a licensed psychologist with over thirty years of experience working with couples. Early in my career, I was drawn to the Imago approach because of its elegant clarity: for relationships to endure and flourish, couples need two essential qualities — safety and aliveness.

Over time, neuroscience has affirmed what Imago recognized decades ago: without safety, the nervous system cannot relax enough to connect. And without aliveness — the vitality, curiosity, and spark that once brought two people together — relationships lose their sense of meaning and joy. Sustainable love requires both.

Imago Relationship Therapy provided not only a compelling framework, but also a practical mindset and skillset that helps couples learning about healing and growth. It offers a structured, relational process through which partners learn to regulate, listen, and respond in ways that foster emotional safety while restoring connection and vitality.

It has been a privilege to serve on the Imago faculty, teaching and mentoring therapists in this approach, and to work with individuals and couples who courageously undertake the work of co-creating conscious, intentional love relationships.

In addition to my training in Imago Relationship Therapy, I have advanced training in systemic approaches, Eriksonian hypnotherapy, and Gestalt therapy, all of which inform my integrative and relationally grounded clinical work.
