Dr. Misty R. Spitler, Psy.D., HSPP

I have been a licensed psychologist for nearly twenty years, with the privilege of serving clients in diverse settings, including community mental health centers, university counseling centers, hospital environments, private practice, and the U.S. Army. My approach is affirming, inclusive, equity-minded, and trauma-informed, with the goal of helping you feel safe, valued, supported, and empowered throughout your therapy experience.

I provide relationship and couples counseling and most often draw on the principles of Imago Relationship Therapy, which I have found highly effective in fostering greater relationship satisfaction. Whether you attend with a partner or on your own, I will offer structure, a safe environment for exploring relational patterns, education in communication skills, and opportunities to practice techniques that promote more effective dialogue across relationships.
