Imago Therapist
A Certified Imago Relationship Therapist is a licensed mental health professional trained in the Imago model to work with couples and individuals, using Imago techniques to foster deeper connection, empathy, and effective communication. This certification involves intensive coursework, supervised clinical practice, and mastery of Imago dialogue to support relational healing in clinical settings.

I offer a warm, collaborative, and supportive space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and cared for. Together, we slow down recurring cycles, explore the deeper needs and emotions beneath them, and discover new ways of communicating and responding. My hope is to help couples move beyond blame and disconnection toward greater empathy, trust, and emotional closeness.

I also work alongside my husband, Richard Bates, MA, RP, in a unique co-therapy partnership. As both a married couple and relationship therapists, we bring two perspectives, real-life understanding, and complementary strengths to our work with couples. We understand that relationships can be both deeply rewarding and challenging, and we feel privileged to support couples as they find their way toward greater connection.
