Dr Wendy Palmer Patterson, Senior Faculty Member, Master Trainer, PHD, LCSW, LMFT, CIRT

Wendy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with more than four decades of experience. She holds a PhD in Counseling with a Specialization in Imago Relationship Therapy (The first of its kind!). Her focus is on “relationship consciousness” and she helps couples, individuals, and businesses build more intentional and fulfilling relationships. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia and has trained extensively with Dr. Harville Hendrix. Wendy has maintained a private therapy practice in the Atlanta area since 1980. She is a Senior Faculty Member/Clinical Instructor with Imago International Training Institute (IITI), the internationally known teaching and training institute for professionals who deliver services utilizing Imago Relationship Theory.

Additionally, Wendy is a Clinical Professor of Imago Relationship Therapy and Graduate Program Coordinator at Daybreak University that focuses on Couples and Family Relationship education.

Wendy provides training, supervision, and consultation to helpers in various aspects of relationship theory, dynamics, and practice. With her husband, Bob Patterson, she offers Getting the Love You Want weekend seminars for couples, advanced couples training in related topic areas, and consultation to non-profit and profit organizations in relational aspects of organization.

Her specialties include couples, family, and group psychotherapy. In addition, she provides contract consultation & supervision to a variety of organizations, professional staffs, and clinicians as well as frequent seminars and workshops on a variety of topics to the public.

Wendy is known for her empathic, energetic, and warm teaching style. Wendy and her husband Bob raised their two children at their home in Atlanta, Georgia, which is a humming center for their private therapy practice, P2 Partnerships, and much creativity.
