Abundant opportunities for connection, discussion and activities are available in this setting- creating an enriched and deeply immersive experience.
The Getting the Love You Want retreat is uniquely designed to help couples in committed partnerships to deepen and restore connection, safety and passion in their relationship. This particular retreat experience is designed to integrate your learning into the natural and picturesque setting of Northern Edge retreat centre.
‘The Edge’, as it is affectionately known, is a remarkable and tranquil place in Northern Ontario, Canada. The focus of the Edge is to be fully immersive in the beauty of nature, to nurture body, mind and soul with nourishment sourced from local farms, to embrace the quiet of trees, water and sky while enjoying the richness of connection with like-minded individuals, and to engage with activities that are consistent with these values such as enjoying nature walks, paddling on the lake, sharing the healing warmth of a wood burning sauna, campfires and conversations and meals that are abundant, delicious and nourishing prepared by an award winning chef and his team.
The beds are delightful and comfortable and the accommodations simple yet absolutely lovely; the care of the staff exceeds expectations, and the opportunities to unplug and yet connect deeply with one another and nature are abundant.
Anna & Tim have been enjoying running retreats at The Edge for the past 4 years and always look forward to the next opportunity to return to the beauty of this place, that is an ideal setting for the magic that IMAGO brings to relationships.
As one of our returning couples recently wrote:
“This was our fifth IMAGO workshop and our third Replenish Relationship retreat with Anna and Tim, and once again, we left feeling deeply nourished. The Algonquin setting adds something truly special—being immersed in nature creates a grounding backdrop for the work. Even the simple act of tidying up after meals fostered a warm sense of community, making the whole experience feel connected and human. Our private cabin was cozy and comfortable….Every meal was fresh, thoughtful, and delicious. Sharing such beautiful cuisine together throughout the weekend added a richness to the retreat that we’ll remember fondly. Of course, the heart of the retreat is the IMAGO curriculum. No matter how many times we return, it continues to be powerful. Watching other couples reach their “aha” moments in real time is inspiring, and the collective sharing adds a layer of meta-learning that’s just invaluable. Hearing stories that resonate across different relationships reminds us that we’re not alone in our challenges, and that’s incredibly healing. Overall, the retreat blends nature, community, and transformational learning in a way that keeps drawing us back.” K & E, Toronto, Ontario
