A Certified Imago Relationship Therapist is a licensed mental health professional trained in the Imago model to work with couples and individuals, using Imago techniques to foster deeper connection, empathy, and effective communication. This certification involves intensive coursework, supervised clinical practice, and mastery of Imago dialogue to support relational healing in clinical settings.
Advanced Imago Therapist
Imago Advanced Clinicians are experienced Imago therapists who have completed several advanced training courses, demonstrating higher-level expertise in Imago theory and practice. This certification reflects advanced clinical skills, commitment to ongoing professional growth, and the ability to work with complex relational issues.
Imago Workshop Presenter
Certified Imago Workshop Presenters are advanced clinicians who are trained to lead the “Getting The Love You Want” workshop for couples and, with additional training beyond their presenter certification, may also present the “Keeping The Love You Find” workshop for individuals. This certification emphasizes personal growth and group facilitation techniques, enabling presenters to guide participants through deep relational learning in immersive workshop settings.
Imago Consultant and Supervisor
Imago Consultants are seasoned professionals qualified to supervise and mentor other Imago therapists and clinicians. Their training focuses on consultation and supervision skills, using the Imago relational paradigm to provide guidance, leadership, and feedback to colleagues engaged in clinical and facilitator training.

About Linda…

Linda A. Lewter is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Imago Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, among others. Linda’s goal in working with individuals is to focus on their relationships with others, uncover unconscious thoughts and drivers, help them regulate their emotions, bring healing in areas of childhood wounding and help them understand how emotions and memories shape them today. What makes Linda’s service distinctive is her uncanny ability to meet client’s where they are and help them achieve positive result in a short number of sessions. She has worked with individuals, couples, parents and teens, military families, and those caring for aging parents. Linda received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling/Psychology from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Linda lives in the Hampton Roads Virginia area. When Linda is not working, she likes to spend time at the beach, reading and spending time with family and friends.
