This certification involves intensive coursework, supervised clinical practice, and mastery of Imago dialogue to support relational healing in clinical settings.
Advanced Imago Therapist
Imago Advanced Clinicians are experienced Imago therapists who have completed several advanced training courses, demonstrating higher-level expertise in Imago theory and practice. Dr. Sarah Mandel is a certified Advanced Imago therapist. She provides relationship therapy for couples at any stage of their relationship and welcomes working with couples from all backgrounds. She emphasizes a comprehensive approach with a supportive environment that fosters growth and healing to improve all aspects of the couple’s relationship. Dr. Mandel supports both partners in their efforts to address their issues and offers tools which help couples change unhealthy patterns of relating, improve communication, and strengthen their emotional connection. Dr. Mandel encourages the use of these skills outside of the therapy sessions, allowing the couple to benefit and maintain what they have learned and move forward beyond therapy. In addition, Dr. Mandel helps couples navigate all phases of their parenting journey, providing support and practical tools for new parents to empty nesters. Dr. Mandel is also a certified EMDR trauma therapist.
