Dr. Caroline Bernhardt-Lanier, PhD, MS, MEd, LCPC

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (MD/DC) and Faculty member with the Imago International Training Institute, dedicated to helping couples and individuals strengthen their relationships and heal the patterns that cause disconnection. My work weaves together Imago theory, attachment and relational neurobiology, trauma-informed practice, and integrative mind–body approaches to support meaningful, lasting change.

I work with a wide range of concerns—relationship conflict, communication challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity and self-worth, multicultural dynamics, and spirituality. In addition to my clinical practice, I lead couples workshops, train therapists in Imago, and offer individual and group supervision for clinicians seeking to deepen their relational skill and presence.

As a Franco-American therapist fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I bring a multicultural lens to my work and welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, and orientations. I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming therapeutic space rooted in safety, curiosity, and the belief that every person has the capacity for healing, connection, and growth.
